The David Lipscomb Elementary Library is dedicated to promoting the love of reading and the development of skills to enhance life-long learning. The librarian works closely with classroom teachers to support the grade level curriculum. The mission of the library is to provide faculty and students with both informational and recreational materials, which will enhance the curriculum, provide for individual differences, and encourage exploration and growth.

Each class visits the library once a week for 30 minutes. The first through fourth graders may also visit the library daily to check out books. First and second graders may check out one book at a time while third and fourth graders may have two books if they choose.
