Computer Class

Computer class teaches the basic skills students will need to be successful in today’s technologically-driven society. Students learn to use various technology tools, such as drawing programs, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and the internet, in ways that support the grade level academic curriculum. Pre-1st and 1st grade students visit the computer lab in small groups for 30 minutes weekly. 2nd through 4th grade classes get a 55-minute visit from the rolling laptop lab each week so that each student has individual use of a laptop for their computer instruction. Keyboarding is one important focus for the older age group.
