LRC Staff

Andrew Harris serves as the Director of the Lipscomb University Racquet Club and is the Head Coach for Men's Tennis. Harris played at Lipscomb University where he was a two-time all conference selection. After receiving his degree Harris was selected as the Head Staff Professional at the Sequoia Swim and Tennis Club for the three years before coming back to Lipscomb to open the Racquet Club in the spring of 2010. Harris also has received his master's degree in Conflict Management and Dispute Resolution from Lipscomb University.

   Jamie Aid is a Nashville native who graduated from Brentwood Academy and Lipscomb University where she earned a B.S in Exercise Science and Biology. She was named the Academic All-Conference team and was also recognized as an NCAA Division I Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar Athlete. Before joining the coaching staff at Lipscomb, Coach Aid served as a faculty member at Ensworth High school as well as Tennis Director from July 2006 till October 2011. Coach Aid has also served as a USTA Junior tournament director and has sat on the TSSAA rules an regulations committee.

Mario Hernandez - Coach Mario is the Men’s Tennis Assistant Coach and a staff professional for the Lipscomb Racquet Club. Originally from Houston, Texas, but moved to Vancouver, British Colombia, when he was sixteen, Mario finished his junior career ranked as one of the top 45 players in Canada. Hernandez played tennis for Lipscomb where he served as team captain his senior year and earned All-Academic honors while acquiring a Political Science degree. After a year of working as a tennis professional for the North Shore Winter Club in North Vancouver, British Colombia, Hernandez is currently acquiring his master’s degree in Civic Leadership.

Joe McArdle - Coach Joe is a Lipscomb University Graduate from Birmingham, England. Currently studying for his MBA, McArdle played for Lipscomb in 2007-11, achieving All-Academic honors all four seasons. Having been ranked in the top 10 in Great Britain as a young junior, McArdle represented his country in a match against Spain in Barcelona. He has been awarded the Outstanding Achievement and Dedication Award for tennis by his local government, and his college team was awarded the Intercollegiate Tennis Association National Team Sportsmanship Award in 2010. McArdle has 8 years of teaching experience.

Rhonda Lehmer is the Lipscomb University Racquet Club's  Pro Shop Manager. Rhonda enjoyes playing tennis and provides tremendous expertise to LRC custom apparel and merchandise.

Emily Harris is the Director of Campus Recreation for Lipscomb University. She oversees administrative services for the LRC and serves as the laison between all wellness services and the LRC. Emily is also a former Lady Bison tennis player. 

 

All Staff Professionals at the Lipscomb Racquet Club have collegiate experience and/or have worked in the club industry in the past. Our mission is to make tennis not just a game but also an experience.
