Laura Ward

Director of Admissions and Student Affairs

Ward comes to the Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy from Freed-Hardeman University where she was the Associate Director of Admissions. She also worked as the Admissions Counselor serving the middle Tennessee area, where she would travel to various schools, college fairs, and churches representing F-HU. While at Freed-Hardman, Ward also served as the Marketing Coordinator for the undergraduate admissions office. Prior to F-HU, Ward was a jewelry buyer for Service Merchandise. Ward, a 1995 graduate of Lipscomb, has a degree in Communications.

 

Kirbee Miller

Admissions Recruiter, Office of Student Affairs 

Kirbee Miller is an alumna of Lipscomb University and holds a B.S. degree in biology with a minor in chemistry.  While a student, Kirbee was involved in medical missions in Tegucigalpa, Honduras and in Ensenada, Mexico at the City of Children Orphanage.   She served in leadership roles with both the Multi-cultural Society and the Student Alumni Association and was a member of the MED club on campus.

Kirbee's prior posts include Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she was employed as a research analyst with the Department of Effective Health Communication and News Channel5 Network where she worked as an account executive.  

 

Kathryne Channell

Coordinator of Alumni and Student Affairs

Channell serves at the Coordinator of Alumni and Student Affairs.  She is a Lipscomb University graduate with a degree in Office Administration.  Prior to her current role with the College of Pharmacy she served in the Office of Student Affairs working primarily with Admissions.  She is working to establish relationships with our new College of Pharmacy alumni and will be coordinating events with a goal of keeping alumni connected to the College and with each other.  Mrs. Channell is also establishing a professional development series for existing students with the goal of enhancing their professional growth as they transition into their pharmacy careers.  In her off time she bakes cookies...lots of them.

 

Christie Broome

Coordinator of Admission Services, Office of Student Affairs
Broome received a B.B.A. in Marketing from Freed-Hardeman University in 2002. Previous to working at Lipscomb, Broome served as a sales and marketing representative for EMI CMG where she established relationships with numerous corporate accounts and serviced the independent Christian retailers. She also has experience as a data entry specialist for EMI CMG.  Broome handles finances for the College of Pharmacy.
