What We Are About

Pre-first is a transition level between kindergarten and first grade. It is a program designed for children who developmentally need another year before entering first grade.

About Our Methods and Curriculum

Our basic approach in language arts is phonetic, along with some whole-language activities. We use a variety of reading materials designed to meet the individual needs of our students. Our math program is based on Mathematics Their Way, a developmental, hands-on approach using manipulatives, designed to promote mathematical thinking skills.
