ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

Risk Management has developed environmental health programs to help protect university students, faculty, staff and the environment.

Program Area Applicability
AED Program If you have questions regarding the operation of the AEDs installed throughout the campus.
Environmental Health If you have questions on asbestos, lead-based paint or mold issues.
Emergency Procedures If you have questions regarding spill response, hazardous material leaks, or emergency preparedness.
Fire Safety If you have questions regarding the University's fire and life safety programs.
Workplace Safety If you have questions regarding employees rights and responsibilities according to OSHA.
Hazardous Materials Management If you work with or have questions on hazardous materials and waste management, battery recycling, bio-hazardous waste, used oil, and other miscellaneous maintenance wastes.
Health and Safety Inspections If you live in any residence hall or are interested in off-campus safe housing practices.
Industrial Hygiene If you have questions on indoor air quality and other monitoring services.
Lab Safety & Research If you work in a research or teaching laboratory.
Occupational Safety If you have questions regarding blood-borne pathogens, confined space entry, ergonomics, PPE, and other programs that protect against occupational hazards.
