Transfers Applying to Lipscomb University School of Nursing
Lipscomb University School of Nursing welcomes applications from students who have previously attended regionally accredited institutions of higher learning, such as community colleges, junior colleges or other four-year institutions. Transfer applicants should be in good standing at the previous institution and must submit official transcripts from every higher education institution attended. PLEASE NOTE: TRANSFER APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT TWO OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS (one per department.) PUT ATTENTION TO: 1.) LIPSCOMB UNIVERSITY ADMISSIONS AND 2.) LIPSCOMB UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF NURSING. Transfer applicants must submit current transcripts to the School of Nursing by December 31st application deadline to be considered for the fall cohort.
The required five science courses must have been completed within five years prior to admission with a "B" grade average or higher among the all five science courses taken. The required five science courses are as follows: 1. Chemistry for Health Sciences 2. Introduction to Microbiology 3. Anatomy & Physiology I 4. Anatomy & Physiology II 5. Pathophysiology. Before being admitted to the nursing program, a transfer student must be admitted to Lipscomb University and meet all admissions criteria. In addition, a separate admission process is required for students to be admitted to the School of Nursing.

Lipscomb University is a participant in the Tennessee Transfer Pathway.
Tennessee Transfer Pathways (TTPs) are designed to help community college students plan for transferring to a Tennessee public university or select regionally accredited, non-profit, Tennessee private colleges and universities to complete their baccalaureate degree. The TTPs also constitute an agreement between community colleges and four-year colleges/universities confirming that community college courses meet major preparation requirements.
