Lipscomb Theatre presents Reflections Three evenings of dance and scenes
Lipscomb Theatre presents "Reflections," three evenings of choreography and scenes from our emerging and established theatre students. Each night you will see new original and traditional styles of choreography including tap, ballet, theatre, jazz, hip-hop and modern dance. You will also see contemporary scene work from the beginning directing and acting students.
Each evening will feature dance routines including a Bob Fosse-inspired jazz number, a jazz and hip-hop fusion, and a romantic jazz piece. Scenes from nine plays will be performed throughout the run, with four different scenes performed each evening. Scenes will be performed from plays such as “Peter and Starcatcher,” “Almost, Maine,” “The Understudy,” “The Last Days of Judas Iscariot” and “Vanya, Sonia, Masha and Spike.” As many as 50 students are involved in the student-directed and performed works.
