A rather informal recital exposing the unique sounds of the tenor, bass and contrabass trombones, featuring the music of Bach and other composers and some jazz.

About Jonathan Hooper
Jonathan Hooper was the director of bands for 25 years at Tarleton State University, and received the Distinguished Faculty Award from the University Alumni Association in 2011. Prior to Tarleton, he directed bands in the Birdville, Azle, and Wylie school districts in Texas.
Hooper received a Bachelor of Music Education at Abilene Christian University and a Master of Music in trombone performance at East Texas State University.
Hooper has been a guest clinician, conductor and adjudicator of numerous bands throughout Texas and the United States, and recorded a commercial CD with BCM International composers.
