A week of events showcasing different cultures from around the world, Lipscomb’s first annual WOW Week will be full of diversity, entertainment and education, unifying the Lipscomb community through food, music and art from different cultures.

Monday, April 7
Lunchtime
World Buffet: Hosted in Bison Cafe, the buffet will provide various dishes from other countries to Lipscomb students and faculty.

Tuesday, April 8

World View: A conversation with Jim Thomas in Zebi's

Wednesday, April 9
1 p.m.
World of Service: Students will get the chance to work with immigration groups at Casa Azafran on Service Day. To sign up for this service opportunity, contact Lisa Steele at 966-5210 or lisa.steele@lipscomb.edu.

World View: A conversation with Bennie Harris in Stowe Hall (Swang 108).

International Square Fair: Several different cultures will converge for an afternoon in Bison Square.

World of Fashion: Co-sponsored by Lipscomb International Students, Kappa Iota Theta and Futuro, this fashion show in the Flatt Amphitheater will feature selected costumes from other countries and continents.

Friday, April 11
7-9 p.m.
World of Art: Art and crafts made by international students displayed in the Bennett Campus Center, third floor..

Saturday, April 12
7-9 p.m.
World Showcase: A celebration of international friendship held in Collins Alumni Auditorium. This event will include performances by various community groups highlighting different cultures and countries such as Mexico, Kurdistan, Nigeria, China and Vietnam.
