Summer Celebration Family Picnic and Fireworks
Everyone is invited to celebrate the Independence Day holiday on Tuesday, July 2, at the Summer Celebration Family Picnic and community worship service, 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The festival features a professional fireworks display, free games and inflatables for children and live entertainment by the Annie Moses Band.

Activities begin at 5 p.m. with a family picnic and a “Kid’s Zone,” including games and crafts for children in the Allen Arena mall area. Food will be available for purchase.
- The community worship service, at 6:30 p.m., in Allen Arena will feature messages by Jonathan Storment and Randy Harris and artwork by Rolando Diaz.
- Theater Games for children in grades three through five will be offered during the worship service (pre-registration required).
- The Annie Moses Band will perform at the Allen Bell Tower beginning at 8:30 p.m.
- A professional fireworks display begins at approximately 9 p.m.
