The Lipscomb University Campus Recreation office is partnering with Lipscomb’s Veterans Services office to host the First Annual Mission 5K set for Saturday, April 21, at the wood chip path adjacent to the David Lipscomb Campus School Reece L. Smith Athletic Complex located at 1069 Caldwell Lane in Nashville.
Two 5Ks are planned for the day. A 5K for non-Lipscomb student participants begins at 10:30 a.m. with the student race kicking off at 11:30 a.m. There will be activities for the entire family including free inflatables and face painting, live music, food available for purchase and more.
The registration fee before March 31 is $5 for students and $10 for non-students. After March 31, the fee is $10 for students and $15 for non-students. Fees include a T-shirt and refreshments. Prizes will be awarded to the top two male and female runners in each category. Proceeds go to the student veteran mission program that is part of the Veterans Services office.
