The Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy will hold Jingle in your Jammies, a one-mile run/walk in fun winter pajamas, on Friday, Nov. 30, as a fundraiser for the Arthritis Foundation.
Registration cost is $25, which includes admission to the Lipscomb University vs. Tennessee Tech men's basketball game, a health screening hosted by the College of Pharmacy, milk and cookies with Santa, a 5x7 picture with Santa provided by Scott Ellis Photography, a T-shirt and free registration for the 5K Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis® in Franklin on Saturday, December 1.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30 in McQuiddy Gym, participants can pick up their T-shirts, enjoy milk and cookies, get their picture made with Santa and participate in the health-screening, available 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
At 6:30 p.m. in Allen Arena, the Lipscomb University men's basketball team hosts Tennessee Tech. Immediately following the game, participants will line up for the one-mile Jingle in your Jammies walk/run inside Allen Arena. Afterward participants are invited to stick around Allen Arena for a late night showing of the movie “Elf.”
The 5K Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis® will be held in Franklin on Saturday, Dec. 1. The Jingle Bell Run is a national event when thousands of runners and walkers hit the country’s pavements, pathways and parks to fight arthritis, the nation’s most common cause of disability.
