Pharmacy Research Day 2012

Pharmacy Research Day 2012 is in the past.

The Lipscomb College of Pharmacy’s annual Research Day on Oct. 9, will feature a seminar presentation by Dan Cobaugh, Ph.D., ASHP Research Foundation. The day's activities will be located in the Burton Health Sciences Center on the Lipscomb campus. There will also be a poster session highlighting student pharmacists’ summer research experience.

Cobaugh will speak at 1 p.m. in the Collins Alumni Auditorium on patient care and pharmacists’ roles, followed by a poster presentation and reception at 2 p.m. in the first-floor flex space of the Burton building.

Research Day is free and open to the public. It is held once a year to highlight the scientific research carried out by the Pharmaceutical Sciences Summer Research Program student participants and their faculty mentors at Lipscomb and Vanderbilt. This year’s event has been expanded to feature not only pharmacy students’ research, but also poster presentations by faculty in various health sciences departments at Lipscomb.
