Les Mis NewOne dollar of every ticket purchased for the Nov. 6, 7:30 p.m. performance, will be donated to YES, an after-school enrichment program for inner city youth that has a longstanding relationship with both Lipscomb and local congregations.

In addition, church-going individual and groups can purchase tickets for “Les Misérables” at a discounted price: $5 for students and church ministers and their family, and $10 for the general church population.

Attendees at the Nov. 6 special performance will enjoy a pre-show “making of” video of the “Les Misérables” production, a post-show talk-back with the cast and crew and discussion questions provided to use with youth or small group discussions.

“Les Misérables,” based on the novel by Victor Hugo, is an inspiring story of grace triumphing over judgment. Jean Valjean is ready to give up on humanity as he breaks parole and begins a life as a fugitive. But a timely gift of silver candlesticks from a gentle priest changes his life and the lives of all those Valjean comes in contact with for decades afterwards.
