Tonight’s family picnic and Independence Day celebration to close Summer Celebration 2015 is on as planned!
Due to the threat of inclement weather, a few location adjustments have been made to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable — and dry — experience for this evening’s festivities.
Please note the following adjustments:
• The inflatables for children will be located in the Student Activities Center from 4:30-6 p.m.
• Food will be available for purchase in McQuiddy Gym from Chick-fil-A, Martin’s BBQ Joint, Blue Coast Burrito and Kona Ice beginning at 4:30 p.m. and at Au Bon Pain (open now until 8:30 p.m.), located in the Student Activities Center.
• Seating for dining is available in the SAC lobby and Allen Arena as well as at outdoor locations, weather permitting.
• The pre-fireworks concert featuring Acapella with George Pendergrass will take place in the Allen Arena Mall (rain location: inside Allen Arena).
• Fireworks display happens rain or shine! If it rains, there are many great indoor viewing locations throughout campus or bring your umbrella to watch outside!
