ALL (day and evening) classes for Thursday, March 5, are canceled due to current road and campus conditions and the anticipation of additional snow accumulation in the next few hours.
University offices will also be closed, except those essential to the safety and welfare of on campus residents. Employees in those areas should report to campus.
Due to the campus needs in supporting the resident students and preparing the campus, we are asking that all available Service Operations staff and Security staff report if possible. As always, safety is our first concern, so we ask that personal discretion and judgment be used regarding travel conditions and that you contact your immediate supervisor to discuss the department's needs.
Service Operations will be working to clear sidewalks and building entrances as they can, but everyone on campus is encouraged to please be cautious and if possible, stay on the walkways that have been cleared. Everyone is encouraged to take caution with any travel or outdoor activities today.
Status of campus activities scheduled for today:
• Faculty and Friends Concert featuring Louise Lofquist and Jerome Reed scheduled for Thursday, March 5 has been postponed. The concert will be rescheduled at a later date.
• Singarama. Due to inclement weather, the Thursday, March 5 performance of Singarama has been canceled. Please contact mindy.fernandez [at] lipscomb.edu for information on exchanges and refunds.
