As spring days turn to summer, final details are being put into place for Summer Celebration 2014 at Lipscomb University.
“Reviving the Mission: Insights from Joshua” is the theme for this year’s edition of Lipscomb University’s annual lectureship set for June 29-July 1.
More than 200 program offerings, including morning and evening keynote celebration sessions, morning and afternoon classes, ACAFEST, a faith and culture movie series, book signings, sponsored meals, classes in Spanish, worship, musical guests and more are planned this year.
“There is something for everyone at Summer Celebration,” said Scott Sager, vice president for church services. “By the time our guests have experienced Summer Celebration, we hope they will feel called to revive the mission of Christ in their congregations and that they feel spiritually revived themselves. We also hope they know that Lipscomb is a spiritual partner and fellow soldier in this mission.”
