11/10/2010 Last year's national H1N1 flu virus scare prompted Lipscomb's health care programs to join together to make sure the university community was protected from the virus. In 2010, they are cooperating to bring three flu shot clinics to campus.

Today Cyntoia's story is being told across the nation through the film Me Facing Life: Cyntoia's Story. The HumanDocs Film Series and ITVS Community Cinema are partnering to bring the film to campus on Wednesday, Oct. 20.

10/1/2010 Jerome Reed, professor of music at Lipscomb University, has been named recipient of a newly endowed faculty chair, the Patricia and Rodes Hart Chair in Piano, President L. Randolph Lowry announced. The Patricia and Rodes Hart Chair in Piano was made possible by a $1 million gift from Nashville businessman Rodes Hart.

Lipscomb mourns the loss of long-time supporter and friend Bill Ezell

9/22/2010 Lipscomb University lost a long-time supporter and friend with the death of former Purity Dairies executive Bill Ezell on Monday, Sept. 20. A member of the Lipscomb University board of trustees from 1999-2003, Mr. Ezell attended Lipscomb University in 1949 and 1950, during which time he was a member of the Bison baseball team.
