| Minton appointed director of alumni programs
Kim Chaudoin 2/14/2012 Higher education veteran Rhonda Minton was recently appointed director of alumni programs at Lipscomb University. Minton will expand the university’s alumni relations efforts and implement new strategies for increasing alumni engagement. She is responsible for developing programs and events that enhance connectivity with the university’s more than 35,000 alumni worldwide. |

| Woods appointed assistant headmaster for development at David Lipscomb Campus School
Kim Chaudoin 2/2/2012 Nonprofit development professional Arthur C. Woods III was recently appointed assistant headmaster and chief development officer at David Lipscomb Campus School (DLCS) in Nashville. Woods will expand the school’s development efforts and implement new strategies for growing the endowment, increasing fundraising revenue and expanding the donor base at DLCS, which is the largest K-12 private school in Middle Tennessee. The assistant headmaster position is a newly added administrative position for DLCS. |

| Lipscomb hosts Gaither Homecoming 2012 in Allen Arena April 20
Kim Chaudoin 1/20/2012 Gospel Music Hall of Famer Bill Gaither brings his all-star Gaither Homecoming Show in a rare Nashville appearance to Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena Friday, April 20 at 7 p.m. The concert is hosted by the Gaither Vocal Band, featuring Gaither and vocalists David Phelps, Mark Lowry, Wes Hampton and Michael English. Special guests will include The Martins, Gene McDonald, Charlotte Ritchie, Kevin Williams and Gordon Mote. The Homecoming tour is Gaither’s salute to southern and country gospel music and is patterned after the highly successful Gaither Homecoming video series. |

| Lifelong Learning Program part of new senior alumni focus

The Senior Alumni Program is designed to target alumni who are age 55 and older and includes programs such as LLP, Summer Hostel and the Golden Circle in addition to new initiatives. | Innovative off-site facility launched in Williamson County

University officials recently finalized a lease on a nearly 5,000-square-foot facility located at Cool Springs Boulevard and Aspen Grove Drive in the Thoroughbred Village III Professional Plaza. |
