Griffin holds the bachelor of arts from Stephens College, the master in health care administration from the University of Minnesota, the M.B.A. from Southwest Missouri State University, and the Ph.D. from Walden University. She is also a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Griffin has been a member of the Lipscomb University faculty since 1999.
