Lipscomb’s student chamber ensemble, The Avalon Trio, coached by Dr. Jerome Reed, presents an afternoon of classics for string trio. The ensemble, made up of Julian Calvin, piano; Joel Campbell, violin; and Kenneth Coca, cello; recently snagged a spot in the national finals of the Music Teachers National Association’s national chambermusic competition in New York City.
