One of the goals of the office of Intercultural Engagement and Development is to assist students with their academic journey during their time at Lipscomb. We have recognized a need for more academic support and developed an honor society whose primary mission is to emphasize academic achievements for students of color.
The purpose of the Intercultural Honor Society {IHS} is to promote academic excellence, to enhance leadership and to facilitate service work in the community. The IHS will honor students of color for succeeding academically, provide incentives to maintain scholarships and encourage others to travel on the same path. Students will be nurtured by faculty and staff and interaction with students from various disciplines.
