This second-year team will partner with San Francisco City Impact for evangelism and outreach in "The Tenderloin", an inner-city neighborhood of San Francisco that includes a large homeless population. San Francisco City Impact's mission is to intervene on behalf of those in the inner-city, both physically and spiritually. The team will support and assist their daily ministry and activities with a specific focus on sharing Jesus in the local community. Activities include preparing/serving meals and visiting with people in the rescue mission, assisting teachers in the City Academy school, evangelism in nearby low-income housing, and more.
This year the team is comprised of members of Lipscomb's Greek Life community, with seven different social clubs represented within the team. For more info on City Impact and the community in which they minister, watch the video below.
