Care for today. Hope for Tomorrow. Back2Back is located in Monterrey, just a few hours south of the border. We will be staying on the Back2Back campus for the week and traveling to several orphanages and impoverished communities from there. Back2Back's mission, and the purpose of this trip, is to love and care for orphans and impoverished children by meeting their spiritual, physical, educational, emotional, and social needs.
This part medical, part general mission trip will have a variety of activities that could appeal to many different types of people. The team will be accompanied by medical professionals, including doctors and nurses, all of whom with work alongside the students and use their gifts to help Back2Back address the general health concerns at the homes. The team will be performing general, required check-ups and physical examinations at the orphanages, and aside from the medical volunteer work, the team will have plenty of opportunity to build friendships with the children. Our primary goal is to serve the children and caregivers at the orphanages with their needs, meaning that, along with our medical tasks, we might be pouring concrete, painting, serving food, or getting to know the children through games, activities, crafts, and Bible lessons. We want to show them that we love them... and most importantly, that God loves them!
