Is my child required to take an admissions test?
All students Pre-K – 4th grade are required to participate in an assessment measuring the social, emotional and academic skills of the applicant. In addition, all students applying for 3rd through 12th grade are required to take the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). To learn more about the ISEE, please click here.
What is your minority population?
Lipscomb Academy's minority population is 14 percent.
We do not attend the Church of Christ. Is Lipscomb a school for us?
Yes, Lipscomb is open to families of all denominations and religious backgrounds.
Does Lipscomb offer financial aid?
Lipscomb does offer financial aid to students. Families are asked to submit a Parent Financial Statement (PFS) to School Scholarship Services (SSS) to determine need. The only students ineligible to receive financial aid are high school varsity athletes per TSSAA Division I rules.
How is Lipscomb Academy accredited?
Lipscomb is triple accredited through the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), the Southern Association of Schools and Colleges (SACS) and the National Christian Schools Association (NCSA). At one point, Lipscomb was the only school in the country with this prestigious triple accreditation.
