David Clayton and Melissa Chambers won the Kinesiology Department Disc Golf Tournament held in May 25-26, 2004, at Seven Oaks and Two Rivers Park in Nashville. The Tournament consisted of a two day competition with 18 entrants from the Physical Education Disc Golf Maymester class. David and Melissa led all competitors after the first day of competition at the Seven Oaks Course. Both 'discers' finished the second day with strong performances for the 18 hole tournament. For winning the tournament, each student received a new Disc Golf driver. Top scorers included: David Clayton 60, Ben Holmes 62, Grover Collins 63, Reg Blair 64 and Ralston Major 64. On the women's side, the top scores included: Melissa Chambers 70, Keri Cunningham 72 and Katie Beth Bobo 74.
