Programs of Study
The Institute offers two academic program choices. Delivery of courses is available to students both on campus and online.
- Graduate Certificate in Conflict Management (5 COURSES). This academic program consists of 15 hours of coursework. The Graduate Certificate in Conflict Management provides students with a core understanding of the principles of conflict management by requiring students to take the first three courses in succession, followed by a settings-based course, and one upper-level course or internship course
-
Master of Arts in Conflict Management (10 COURSES). This is a 30 hour non-thesis or thesis program, requiring students to take the first three courses in succession, followed by a settings-based course, (same as above) and will work with the ICM Academic Director to develop a customized pathway for upper-level study. The final stage of the Masters program will require students to apply learning in the context of both a project and externship (non-thesis option) or thesis.
We welcome all interested individuals and applicants. INTERESTED IN STARTING FALL 2012? Please contact Beth Morrow (beth.morrow@lipscomb.edu) or (615) 966-2502 for more information.
