Coordinator of Latino Affairs
We have the following opening in Campus Life:
Position: Coordinator of Latino Affairs
Reports to: Dean of Campus Life
Coordinate programs and services to support academic, social, and personal development of all Latino students, while creating a positive campus-wide appreciation for the need and benefits of cultural and ethnic diversity at the university. Build relationships in the local and national Latino community that assist in the recruitment of Latino students and generate financial contributions and personal engagement from community leaders.
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: At least two years of relevant experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience). Must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
Job Related Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and interpersonal skills.
- Established relationships with leaders in the local Latino community.
