Program Description:

The Special Education Endorsement Program is a unique program that will enable you to earn the teaching license in Special Education Modified K-12. The program will provide you with coursework in applied behavior analysis (ABA), a unique and high-demand area of special education. You will also study positive behavior support (PBS) and a response to intervention (RTI) framework for literacy development. Candidates will develop effective communication and collaboration skills in special education and will master the creation, implementation and use of individual education plans (IDP).

The program can be completed in as little as 12 months--longer if you choose to take your time--and is designed to fit your busy schedule with classes on weeknights, Saturdays, online and during the summer. Candidates may also choose to engage in the full master's program in special education.
