Lipscomb faculty have years of professional experience in the university and K-12 classroom. Each member of the faculty team brings this knowledge and a tremendous passion for teaching to the graduate learning community to enhanceevery graduate candidate’s Lipscomb experience.
Courses are also available for professional development or for obtaining Beginning or Professional Administrator endorsements. If you're not a teacher but want to be, we also offer courses leading to initial teacher licensure. Some M.Ed. courses are also available online.
Small classes allow our highly prepared and experienced faculty to serve not just as teachers, but also as mentors. Evening and summer classes offer convenience and flexibility. Studies are personalized to meet your specific education needs. The Graduate Program is fully accredited by NCATE, the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, and approved by the Tennessee State Board of Education. If you are a full-time teacher or administrator in a public or private school, we now offer special scholarships and discounts that will help significantly with the cost of studying at Lipscomb.
