Office of Graduate Studies

The Office of Graduate Studies staff is here to serve all of your needs as a prospective and current graduate student. Our office is located in the Ezell Center, room 120.  The Ezell Center is on the southwest side of campus, just off Belmont Boulevard. Once in the main lobby of the building turn right and our office is at the end the hall. 

We invite you to come by our office to discuss your graduate opportunities or give feedback regarding your current experience as a graduate student. Please let us know if you have any questions about our programs.        

Randy BouldinDr. Randy Bouldin

Associate Provost for Academic Development and Graduate Studies

Dr. Randy Bouldin, Associate Provost for Graduate Studies, holds a B.A. degree from Lipscomb University, an M.S. degree from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, and a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University. Dr. Bouldin, also Associate Professor of Mathematics, has been at Lipscomb University since 1986 and was appointed Associate Provost in 2007. He is a member of the Tennessee Conference of Graduate Schools, the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools, the Council of Graduate Schools, the Tennessee Mathematics Teachers' Association and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Dr. Bouldin chairs the Graduate Academic Leadership Team and works closely with the Provost to manage the academic and administrative policies and practices associated with all current graduate degrees. In addition, he collaborates with the college deans and faculty to develop and implement new graduate programs. Barbara Blackman

Administrative Assistant and Coordinator

After receiving her degree from Lipscomb University, Barbara spent many years in private and for-profit education. She taught English and Social Studies in middle and high schools. For twelve years, Barbara worked with students and employers as an advisor and then as a Director of Career Services at Nashville Auto Diesel College. In her current role at Lipscomb, Barbara works closely with the Associate Provost for Graduate Studies, coordinating events and projects for the Graduate Studies Office.
