At DLCS, we believe creativity is one of the unique ways we are “made in God’s image.” As such, we seek to broaden students’ horizons into the many intriguing dimensions of fine arts. Students may participate in a variety of creative activities such as art, chorus, band and drama/theater. Fine arts teachers combine classroom instruction with participatory and experiential learning methods, giving students complete insight into these creative pursuits.

DLCS’s connection with Lipscomb University creates expanded opportunities - collaborations with university level professors are the norm rather than the exception. From first-class art studios and rehearsal halls to a variety of performance venues to collegiate-level instructional experiences, DLCS gives students the knowledge and tools to realize their full creative potential.
