Financial Aid

Welcome to the Lipscomb University Financial Aid website. Our office wants to partner with you to make your degree at Lipscomb a reality! We're here to help students maximize all their financial opportunities as well as understand the options that are available. The information provided here will help you find out how to apply for Lipscomb scholarships and federal aid (which could include grants, federal work study, and loans). We're proud of the fact that we've been listed as a top school for return on investment and that our student debt at graduation is below average. A lot of the work to get that result starts right here!

Crisman Administration Building houses the financial aid officeFinancial aid is defined as any loan, part-time employment, grant, or scholarship offered for the purpose of helping a student pay for educationally-related expenses. This aid can be provided by federal, state, institutional, or private agencies, and students can be offered any number of combinations of these types of aid.

Financial Aid can be easier to navigate by remembering these 4 basic steps:

  1. You must file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) yearly.
  2. You cannot be awarded more aid than covers your cost of attendance.
  3. You must maintain all basic requirements to keep your scholarships, grants, and loans.
  4. Be sure to consistently check your Lipscomb email and your MyLipscomb website for important communications.

If you have questions or need help, our financial aid staff is available to help you.  Please feel free to contact us by phone, email or make an appointment to come in and meet with us.  We look forward to helping you achieve your education goals
