Course Description

Every organization and company is a tribe, or a network of tribes-groups of 20 to 150 people that form naturally. In this highly interactive session, Dave Logan will show business leaders how to enhance the quality and performance of organizations, one tribe at a time. The result is unprecedented impact and more effective management.

Dave Logan is a faculty member at the University of Southern California (USC), best-selling author, and management consultant.

He teaches management and leadership in the USC Executive MBA—an area rated #1 on the latest Wall Street Journal ranking of Executive MBA programs.  He is also on the faculty at the International Centre for Leadership in Finance (ICLIF), endowed by the former prime minister of Malaysia.

From 2001-2004, he served as Associate Dean of Executive Education at USC. During that time, he started the Master of Medical Management (MMM), a business degree for medical doctors.  He started new programs for major defense contractors and governments around the world and managed the largest distance learning program in Japan and a senior executive program at Toyota.

As co-founder and senior partner at CultureSync, a management consulting firm, Dave works with Fortune 500 companies, including Qualcomm, Intel, Charles Schwab American Express, and Prudential. 

Dave is co-author of four books including Tribal Leadership and The Three Laws of Performance.  The Three Laws of Performance has been on the best-sellers lists of USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and Business Week.  His books have been endorsed by people as varied as Nobel Peace Prize Winner Desmond Tutu, Leadership gurus Ken Blanchard and Warren Bennis, and Harvard economist Michael Jensen.

Dave has a Ph.D. in Organizational Communication from the Annenberg School at USC.
