What is the difference between Executive Education and the MBA?
Executive Education consists of non-degree programs designed to enhance the professional skills and knowledge base of business leaders. These programs are typically shorter in nature and presented in an intensive and interactive format.
An MBA is a Masters Degree in Business Administration. This academic program is available at Lipscomb in either a full-time or part-time (evening) format. [back to top]

Where are the programs located?
Most of Lipscomb’s Executive Education programs will be located in the SunTrust Center for Collaborative Learning on the campus of Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville is one of America's most exciting cities, with lots of attractions to visit and affordable places to stay.
Nashville is located within one day's drive of 75 percent of the nation's population, so getting to Lipscomb is easy!

Directions to Campus
From north of Nashville on I-65 or I-24
Take I-65 to I-40 West to I-440 East. Take Exit 3 ( 21st Ave./Hillsboro Pike). When the off-ramp splits, follow the signs to Hillsboro Pike. Once you are on Hillsboro Pike, turn left at the third stoplight. This is Woodmont Blvd. At the first stoplight, turn right onto Belmont Blvd. Go approximately two blocks and the campus will be on your left.
From south of Nashville on I-65
Take I-440 West. Take Exit 3 (21st Ave./Hillsboro Pk). When the off-ramp splits, follow the signs to Hillsboro Pike. Once you are on Hillsboro Pike, turn left at the third stoplight. All major airlines offer service to Nashville International Airport (BNA). You should allow approximately thirty minutes driving time from the airport to Lipscomb University. Can I take just one course?
Lipscomb Executive Education courses are offered a la carte. Participants will benefit from taking a single course. However, if you wish to take more than one course you may eligible for our Executive Development Achievement Program. [back to top]
How big are the classes?
Lipscomb is committed to providing a first class learning experience for every Executive Education program participant. Therefore, we limit the number of participants in each program based on the program format and faculty recommendation. [back to top]
How long are the classes?
Our programs vary in length. Lipscomb currently offers one-day open enrollment programs that are engaging and interactive in nature. Custom programs are tailored specifically to each company’s needs. [back to top]
Do I receive credit for attendance?
Executive Education programs are generally not offered for academic credit. Select programs offer certificates. In addition, continuing education credits may be awarded for participation in some programs. Can I obtain proof of attendance?
A certificate of completion or a letter of completion on Lipscomb letterhead is available upon request for all programs. If you need proof of attendance, please contact us and we will be happy to provide that for you. [back to top]

Lipscomb’s Executive Education program is continually looking for new opportunities to serve the business community through new and improved course offerings. We invite new ideas and suggestions for future courses. We also offer Custom Programs for companies seeking training in specific areas. Do you offer discounted pricing?
Yes, we offer corporate group pricing as follows:

Due to varying class sizes, notification of an organization's number of attendees must be made in advance. Also, Lipscomb Alumni receive 25% off registration of all Executive Education classes. Does my company cover/reimburse tuition?
Many companies will cover the costs associated with opportunities for their employees, executives, and board members to enhance their professional knowledge and skills. Please consult with your company to determine how much your company is willing to pay toward an Executive Education experience at Lipscomb. [back to top]
How can I pay for classes?
We accept several forms of payment including check or credit card. Payment may be divided into multiple charges depending on the needs of the participant. For more information on payment options, please contact us. [back to top]
What if I need to postpone or cancel my enrollment?
Upon receipt of a written request made in advance of the program, paid registrations may be cancelled, transferred to another person, or applied toward a registration in a future offering. No refunds will be made for partial participation in a program. [back to top]
I can attend a portion of a course; can I receive a discount for unattended portions?
No. The listed registration price is the cost to attend any portion of a Lipscomb Executive Education program. [back to top]
