English Teaching majors have a built-in minor in Education and are not required to complete another minor.
To complete the English Teaching major, students must satisfy the major field writing requirements for both the Education Department and the English
Department.
English Teaching majors are also strongly encouraged to complete one survey course in philosophy or English 4203 (Literary Theory and Criticism).
