The $611,517 grant will encourage the study of engineering at three Nashville-area community colleges.
Lipscomb engineering missions team installs 104-foot-long bridge in San Esteban, Honduras
Throughout the course of this past year, students, faculty and staff from Lipscomb’s Raymond B. Jones College of Engineering in conjunction with Lipscomb's Peugeot Center for Engineering Service to Developing Communities, Honduras Outreach Inc. and HDR/ICA, have been working to design, build and install a pedestrian bridge in San Esteban, Honduras.

Lipscomb loses friend with the passing of Elizabeth Hughes
The Lipscomb community is mourning the loss of Elizabeth S. Hughes, longtime university benefactor, on Sunday, May 10. Hughes turned 100 this past March 19.
