This is our third year to work with PrediSan, a medical mission based in Catacamas, Honduras. The majority of the engineering work was done in Las Delicias, a beautiful remote village about 2 hours (30 miles) east of Catacamas where PrediSan has a facility. There are four main projects associated with this year's trip.

"El Loro" Radio Repeater

Predisan's radios require line of site to receive good reception. Unfortunately, this prohibits the remote clinics in the mountains from communicating with their main clinic in Catacamas. Click here to find out how Lipscomb engineering students determined a solution for Predisan's need.

Composting Sanitation System

For Predisan's remote facility in Las Delicias, sanitation is a stinking problem! Click here to find out about how our students found an innovative answer to a age-old problem.

Water Tower, Revisited

What happens when a project's growth outpaces its original design requirements. Click here to find out about how Lipscomb's students revised the water tower we built to hold twice the water capacity.

Community Outreach

We visited local schools around the CEDECO facility, meeting nearly 400 students. With the help of donations from supporters in the states, we gave them needed school supplies, introduced some basic science concepts, and shared the love of Christ.
