To Request an Initial Appointment
The reasons people seek counseling are as varied as people themselves. Seeking help through the University Counseling Center does not imply weakness. Students coming into the Center are usually pursuing more effective and rewarding lives by confronting personal problems, relationship needs, career questions, or skill development issues.
Current Students and Employees
Counseling services are provided at no cost to University students and employees in most cases. Costs on certain exceptions are located on our site.
In order to request an appointment, use the request for initial appointment form. We will respond within one business day when possible.
Access to our full range of counseling services is available to currently enrolled University students and employees only. Students and employees receive priority scheduling; alumni may be accommodated when therapists’ schedules permit. In such cases, counseling services for alumni are normally limited to career counseling and pre-marital counseling. Costs on certain exceptions are located on our site.
Alumni in need of referral recommendations for other counseling services review our referral information.
