Lipscomb University J-Camp

The annual Lipscomb University Journalism Camp, co-hosted by the Tennessee High School Press Association, will be held June 7-10, 2015, on the Lipscomb University campus. 

J-Camp sessions will include news writing, feature writing, sports writing, design/layout, editing, photography and video. The camp offers participants the option of spending the nights in dorms or being day campers and is open to high-school students and advisers alike.

Financial assistance: A limited number of scholarships is available for students interested in J-Camp. Click here to download the application form. The nomination form should be returned by May 11; early applications are encouraged. Parents/legal guardians, school officials and students will be notified of the recipients by May 18. Parents/legal guardians will be expected to postmark the reduced camp payment and consent form by May 26; failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the scholarship.
