Financial Assistance Options

Student Loans

Student loans are available through lending agencies, and application materials are available through the Financial Aid Office at Lipscomb University. The Institute’s Financial Aid representative is Tiffany Summers (966-6205 or tiffany.summers@lipscomb.edu).

Please note: After completing and submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and loan application, it will take approximately four weeks for the Financial Aid office to receive your FAFSA results.  Please complete these documents at least six weeks prior to the start of the semester you are planning to enroll.

Corporate Partnership

Students and their employers may participate in the Corporate Partnership Program in which Lipscomb University will match an employer’s student educational funding up to 25% off the total cost of the program.

To set up an account as an Employer Reimbursement/Lipscomb Corporate Partnership Matching account, we will need an original letter on company letterhead confirming employment eligibility to participate in their educational benefits as well as a completed Employer Reimbursement Form.

 

Assistantships

Yellow Ribbon Program:  Applicants who qualify for 100% of the Post-9/11 GI Bill, Lipscomb will match the federal government aid provided for the Master’s in Civic Leadership program.  For more information on the Yellow Ribbon Program, please contact April Herrington (966-1013 or april.herrington@lipscomb.edu).

Graduate Assistantship: The Andrews Institute offers a limited number of fellowships and assistantships for students who are enrolled in the Master’s in Civic Leadership program. 

 

Available Partner Awards

CABLE: The Andrews Institute offers a partial award to a member of CABLE. An interview process will be held to determine winners. To be considered, applicant must complete all admissions requirements as well as provide verification of membership before interview process begins.

Center for Nonprofit Management: The Andrews Institute partners with the Center for Nonprofit Management (CNM) to offer a 25% tuition discount to employees and board members of member non-profit organizations that are members of CNM. Additionally, a competitive partial award for one staff member and one board member is available. An interview process will be held to determine winners. To be considered, applicant must complete all admissions requirements before the interview process begins.

LEAD Tennessee: The Andrews Institute offers a partial award to a member of LEAD Tennessee. An interview process will be held to determine winners. To be considered, applicant must complete all admissions requirements as well as provide verification of inclusion in LEAD Tennessee before interview process begins.

Nashville Emerging Leader: The Andrews Institute offers a partial award to a member of NEL. An interview process will be held to determine winners. To be considered, applicant must complete all admissions requirements as well as provide verification of membership before interview process begins.

Tennessee Association of Community Leadership: The Andrews Institute partners with the Tennessee Association of Community Leadership to offer a partial award to one member of TACL. An interview process will be held to determine winners. To be considered, applicant must be a graduate of TACL sponsored leadership program and complete all admissions requirements.

Young Leaders Council: The Andrews Institute offers a partial award to a member of the YLC. An interview process will be held to determine winners. To be considered, applicant must complete all admissions requirements as well as provide verification of membership before interview process begins.
