In addition, the basic concepts of program and algorithm design using a scripting language along with discussion of the ethical use of computers. | Heavy emphasis will be placed upon using the microcomputer as a decision-making tool. Theory and applications of various software packages, including word processing, electronic spreadsheet, database, and presentation software are discussed. Prerequisites: Satisfaction of Information Technology Proficiency requirement. Lecture/Laboratory, 3 hours.
