Meet the Firm Student Information

What is Meet the Firm?	Meet the Firm is a networking event designed for Accounting Firmsand employers to meet students for full-time accounting careers and internships. Meet the Firm begins the recruiting process for May 2012 graduates and 2012 internships.
Who is it for?	All accounting majors sophomore- seniors and MAcc students or accounting graduates of 2011.
What to expect?	Employers will have table displays set up promoting their organizations. They will engage with students to learn more about the student's area of interest, discuss full-time or internships, ask for a resume, and share about their organizational opportunities. All students and employers will be in professional dress.
How to prepare?	Schedule a resume review with Career Development before Friday, September 2nd. Plan your "career outfit"- a professional suit including jacket, shirt/tie or blouse, and polished shoes. Have a leather portfolio pad to carry resumes and one that has a legal pad to take notes on.
What happens after Meet the Firm?	Students must apply to their target employers on the Experience Job Board. Employers will make interview selections. All students should attend a mock interview on September 13th or 14th.
