Rental Guide

At Lipscomb University, we encourage each individual to live a healthy lifestyle.  Therefore, Lipscomb campus recreation offers a variety of programs and facilities that helps each person find a workout of their desire. Lipscomb’s Student Activities Center offers the following facilities:

• 2 full basketball courts
• 4 racquet ball courts
• an indoor track
• a spinning studio with 15 bikes
• weight room
• group fitness studio (bamboo flooring and mirrors)
• a performance studio (wood flooring and mirrors)
• locker rooms 
• a lounge

The Student Activities Center is also an ideal place to host events such as: birthday parties, team practices, team building exercises, church lock-ins, etc.  We can accommodate groups of almost any size, small to large.

Rates 

Package Pricing:  Includes - 2 full basketball courts, indoor track, 4 racquetball courts, men's and women's locker room, and lounge area. 

Cost for Package Pricing:  3 Hours - $350                 4 Hours - $550                8 Hours - $999

***Discounts available for church groups, Lipscomb employees, and Lipscomb students (only applies to package pricing).

Reservation Procedures

• All reservations must be made one week in advance.  ( After reading, please submitt your request at the bottom of the page).
• Upon approval, you will be notified by email or phone.
• Reservations will be secured once payment and liablity insurance (groups of 25+) or liability form (groups less than 25) are received. 
• Liability Insurance
  • is required for groups of 25 or more.  Insurance can be purchased at http://urmia.bene-marc.com.  Please use code 31041566 when prompted.  Insurance form and contract must be on file before the event.
• Liability From
  • needs to be filled out by the group leader for groups under 25 participants.
• If there is a need for cancellation, a 48-hour notice is not provided, a $50 fee will be processed, and the rest of your funds will be returned.
• Please make checks out to Lipscomb University.
• Bring checks to SAC desk or mail checks and liability insurance form to:

Gym Policies

• All patrons must abide by established policies and procedures.
• Every patron must sign a qiaver to use the facilities
• Patrons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult when using the facilities.
• Food and drinks are permitted only in the lobby area.
• Please report any injury to an LU campus recreation employee.
• Unreturned or damaged property will result in a supplemental fee.
• LU campus recreation is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
