FALL SPORTS SCHEDULE 2012

 (All dates are subject to change)

Club League - All active Social Club members.  Play is scheduled for Sunday afternoons and/or evenings.

Independent League - All enrolled Lipscomb students, graduate students, and faculty/staff.  There is both A & B division.  Play is scheduled Monday-Thursday evenings.

**Captains' Meetings - All teams must have a representative at the captains' meetings listed below to be able to participate in the league.  Captain's meetings will provide teams with contact information, rules, schedules, etc.  All teams must provide $20 at the captains' meeting, which is a refundable fee.  The money will not be refunded if the team fails to provide 24 hours notice of a team forefeit.

Co-ed Kickball Kickoff:
Entry Deadline: Friday August 24^th  (3 p.m.)
Start Date: Saturday August 25^th    (Time tbd)

Men’s, Women’s, and Club Softball:
Entry Deadline: Monday August 27^th   (10 p.m.)

Captains’ Meeting:  Wednesday August 29^th (7 p.m.)

Start Date:  Thursday August 30^th (6 p.m.)

Co-ed Indoor Soccer:

Entry Deadline:  Tuesday September 4^th (10 p.m.)

Captains’ Meeting:  Thursday September 6^th (7 p.m.)

Start Date:  Sunday September 9^th (3 p.m.)

Tennis Round Robin:

Start Date:  Saturday September 15th (10 a.m.)

Ultimate Frisbee Tournament:

Entry Deadline:  Tuesday September 25^th (10 p.m.)

Captains’ Meeting:  Thursday September 27^th (7 p.m.)

Start Date:  Monday October 1^st (6 p.m.)

Men’s, Women’s and Club Football:

Entry Deadline:  Tuesday October 2^nd (10 p.m.)

Captains’ Meeting:  Thursday October 4^th (7 p.m.)

Start Date:  Sunday October 7^th (4 p.m.)

Co-Ed Volleyball:

Entry Deadline:  Tuesday October 9^th (10 p.m.)

Captains’ Meeting: Thursday October 11^th (7 p.m.)

Start Date:  Sunday October 14^th (7 p.m.)

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament:

Entry Deadline:  Monday November 26^th (10 p.m.)

Captains’ Meeting:  Wednesday November 28^th (7 p.m.)

Start Date:  Friday November 30^th (5 p.m.)

TIRSA Flag-Football SHOOTOUT:

Deadline:  Monday October 29, 2012.

Lipscomb will participate in the MTSU TIRSA FALL 2012 flag-football shootout. The winning squad of each division will receieve free entry to either the NIRSA or ACIS National Flag Football Tourament, along with trophies. Lipscomb will be sending a team to compete. The Lipscomb team will be hand selected by the intramural department and the captain of the winning A league flag-football team.  The tournament is from Friday November 2nd, to Sunday November 4th.  More information will be available closer to the start of the flag-football season. The costs involved are still to be determined.
