SEWELL HALL

Sewell is Lipscomb's smallest male residence hall, housing approximately 166 students.  Since it is located near the  Student Center, the Allen Arena and the Student Activity Center, Sewell residents have easy access to Campus Safety, the Bison Room, the Post Office, and the gym.

Residents of Sewell enjoy spending time with friends in the large lobby area where they can watch T.V., talk, study, play ping-pong, or use the computer lab.  Located off the lobby are vending machines and a laundry room for resident use.  There are also two restrooms conveniently located on each floor.

Sewell Hall is staffed by a Resident Hall Director (Sam Parnell) and 6 Resident Assistants.  These individuals are employed to assist the residents and to provide opportunities for growth.  Sewell RAs organize activities for the residents such as open dorms, hall devotionals, service opportunities, education programs, and trips off campus such as camping and white-water rafting.  Any student needs or questions can be directed toward one of these student leaders.
