HEY FRESHMEN…
Welcome to Lipscomb! We’re glad you’re here and want to help make your first year the best it can be. Getting involved and finding a group of students with similar interests as yours is a great way to start. Many freshmen join one of the interest groups listed below. You can come to as many as you want and join as many as you like. Sign up at Advance or below and we’ll be in touch about first meeting dates. Don’t miss the chance to have some fun and make new friends with other freshmen you already have something in common with!

COMMUNITY SERVICE/SERVICE LEARNING

Join a group of like-minded peers to learn about ways to use your skills, gifts and talents in service to the community. Come learn about SALT, see how you can get involved in service and discover what opportunities are available for freshmen now. |
CULINARY/FOOD

Want to learn the difference between sauté and saté? Come explore food, culinary arts, international cuisine and nutrition. |
GAMING
|
Get your game on and join a group of students who enjoy playing and discovering new video games. |
GAME DEVELOPMENT/ENGINEERING

Are you interested in how video games are created? Do you enjoy discovering the “why” behind why things work they way they do? Join the game development group for a chance to meet other freshmen with a similar interest! |
MED CLUB
|
Mu Epsilon Delta (MED Club) strives to encourage the potential of aspiring physicians and other health care professionals that have expressed interest in learning and growing in the health sciences. Members are provided with opportunities that will not only strengthen their endeavors, but also allow them to serve in an environment specifically tailored for their future goals. |
