You will have the opportunity to obtain 28 hours of Accounting & Auditing credit. Monday's session will focus on Fraud, its detection and prevention. These hours relating to Fraud should also qualify as governmental CPE. CPE is required of all ACTIVE licensees: 80 hours each two-year period with a minimum of 20 hours in each year. Forty (40) hours (of the 80) must be completed in the areas of accounting and auditing, taxation, accounting ethics, or management advisory services (includes financial advising), with a minimum of 20 hours each year.  If you engage in the attest function (including compilations), you must complete at least 20 (of the 40) hours in accounting and auditing. If you are engaged as an expert witness in the areas of accounting, attest, management advisory services, or tax, you should obtain at least 20 hours (of the 80) in the general subject area(s) relating to such testimony. Licensees who renew in 2014 must complete 2 hours of State Specific Ethics.  This conference offers 2 hours of state-specific ethics.

After turning onto McGavock Pike, go to the light and turn right onto Century Blvd. Turn right into One Century Place. Turn left and follow the signs which lead to Conference Center Parking.
