-       Technology Grant for innovative course design, Lipscomb University.
-       Syracuse University Chancellor’s Faculty Inspiration award for “Excellence”. One of only three faculty members for this annual award.
-       U.S. Army Faculty Development Award – Designated “Master Instructor”, the US Army's highest faculty development award based on peer and student evaluations on a minimum of 1250 student contact hours.
Academic and Professional Experience

2012 - 2006 – Ten-time Accreditation Examiner and Team Leader, five-time Mentor for the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Reviewed and scored applications for specialized accreditation using the Baldrige Criteria. Participated in national and international site visits to verify accreditation application. Coordinated team review requirements and prepared final feedback for applicant. Mentored schools going through accreditation or reaffirmation self-studies

2012 – Conducted a Baldrige Performance Excellence Program workshop for Tennessee State University administrators, faculty and staff, Nashville, TN.

2012 – Enrolled in the Sloan Consortium Online Certification course. Have previously taught over 100 online courses on a contract basis.

2012 – Selected to Leadership Franklin, TN, Class of 2013. Through networking, collaboration, and strategic thinking, requires the analysis of a particularly important segment of the city and/or county.

2012 – 2011 Serve on Board of Directors, Better Business Bureau (BBB), Nashville TN. Region encompasses middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky.

2012 - 2011 – Instructor, Middle Tennessee Human Resource Excellence Award Examiner Training. Selected to develop Baldrige based training and conduct examiner training for regional Human Resource Award program.

2012 – 2003 - Certified Quality Manager/Organizational Excellence (CQM/OE) and Senior Member, American Society for Quality (ASQ). Certification Body of Knowledge includes the skills to motivate and evaluate staff, manage projects and human resources, analyze financial situations, determine and evaluate risk and employ knowledge management tools and techniques in resolving organizational challenges.
